"Mega Dream ex (M2a)" is a Japanese high-class pack in the MEGA series, released on November 28, 2025 in Japan. As an end-of-year set, the expansion combines numerous defining cards from 2024 and 2025 with new Mega Evolutions.
With a total of 250 cards, Mega Dream EX is one of the most extensive sets in the MEGA series. Thematically, it is related to Pokémon Legends: ZA and incorporates key elements of the new MEGA era.
The focus is on Mega Dragonite EX, which is represented in all rarity levels – including the gold-embossed Mega Ultra Rare. Additionally, the set introduces the Mirror Holofoil pattern for Energy cards for the first time.
A particularly noteworthy new feature is the "Mega Attack Rares," a new rarity level presented in a striking pop-art style. These cards depict Pokémon with the name of their main attack in a distinctive comic-book font.
